Blended Orgasms – What, How and Why?

Written by Donna Turner

It’s no secret that when you mix two brilliant things, the result is often more than the sum of its parts. This is absolutely true of orgasms: a clitoral orgasm is brilliant; a G-spot orgasm is incredible. But combine the two and you have a recipe for a mind-blowing mixture of complex sensations.

What Is a Blended Orgasm?

While ‘blended orgasm’ might sound like some kind of orgasm smoothie (and I’ll be first in line when someone invents those), it is in fact a broad name for an orgasm that’s brought on by orgasmically stimulating more than one erogenous zone at the same time.
For example, people generally agree that there are two primary types of orgasm for women: the clitoral orgasm and the G-spot orgasm. There are of course many other more subtle and personal types of orgasm (and since everyone is a little different, you could reasonably argue that there are at least as many types of orgasm as there are women on the planet), but let’s not overcomplicate things for now.
The point is that a blended orgasm, which is a combination of clitoral and G-spot pleasure, is at least twice as intense as either of those orgasms by themselves.

How Do I Have a Blended Orgasm?

A blended orgasm is a more “advanced” kind of climax, because it requires you knowing your body (or your partner knowing your body) quite well.
It’s a strange thing to consider that even now, with all our medical and scientific expertise, there is still debate and confusion over female anatomy. Many women, for example, are unaware that their clitoris is not simply that little external bundle of nerves we know and love so much, but in fact has “legs” that extend around the vaginal opening and then inside the vagina (in fact, there was a paper published recently that argued that the clitoris and the G-spot are not distinct organs, but part of the same complex of tissue – in short, that the G-spot was the “back” of the clitoris).
At any rate, the point is that when you start paying attention to the entire clitoris rather than just the external part, while stimulating your G-spot at the same time, the result is likely to be a far more intense orgasm than you might be used to.

What Do I Need For A Blended Orgasm?

You don’t really need anything: if you have patience and some time, then your hands or those of your partner will provide good results.
That said, the most efficient way to reach a blended orgasm is by using toys. The more aroused you are, the better and easier it will be, so make sure you take lots of time building up, spoiling yourself, teasing yourself.
Then, when you start to feel yourself getting close, apply a powerful vibe to your clitoris
NALONE CURVE and another,

Use lots of personal moisturizer too.

Find a rhythm, alternating between the pressure you’re applying to your clit and your G-spot, experimenting with slightly different angles and intensities. Try to apply the vibrations all over and around your clitoris, tracing its length inside yourself. Continue to tease and prolong the pleasure – the longer you delay your orgasm, the more intense it will be.
When the blended orgasm finally overwhelms you, you’ll notice the muscles contract all the way along the inside of your vagina; it’s this depth that gives the blended orgasm its intensity.

To Sum Up

Practice makes perfect, so the more you experiment and indulge your body with blended orgasms, the easier and more powerful they’ll become. Exercising your Kegels will also help to strengthen the muscles you use in this kind of orgasm, which in turn will intensify the sensations even more.

So good luck, and most importantly, have fun.

Sex & Pregnancy

You’re pregnant, and your partner is giving you the nudge for some action.
It’s not uncommon that sex is going to be furthest thing from your mind as your body is changing in its shape; size and hormones are going through the seesaw of emotions.
But then for others, you just have those niggling fears and questions about whether it’s safe or not or when am I going to be ready again?
So here are some hints and tips about sex & pregnancy:
1. Is it safe for me, and the baby, to have sex during pregnancy?
Yes.
I have heard of many men that think their penis will poke out the baby’s eye! Well for those wondering, that’s physically impossible. The baby is protected in the uterus. In 99% of cases sex during pregnancy is perfectly safe for both mum and the baby.
There are some exceptions that your obgyn will tell you about. These would include those with a weak cervix, unexplained bleeding or people that suffer from placenta previa. Talk to your doctor if you are concerned.
2. When am I going to be ready?
It’s not true that just because your pregnant your libido will tank. For some it’s completely the opposite. Your new curves can make you feel irresistibly sexy and many couples have an active sex life for the entire 9 months!
But here is more of a common reaction of what’s happening to you…
1st trimester-
Fatigue, nausea, hormones on fire and body changes can be a put off. But for others it doesn’t stop that urge to be close to their partner – so it’s really up to you.
2nd & 3rd trimester (also called the ‘Honeymoon Period of Pregnancy’)–
Hormones start to level out and at this time there is an increase in blood flow to your intimate areas and your libido tends to rear its head again and orgasms have been recorded to be more intense and pleasurable! So get your groove on even with a baby on board.
3. Is it safe to use massagers during pregnancy?
Yes.
At all stages of pregnancy, vibrators – both internal and external – are safe to use. However, during this time please take note that body-safety is really important. So take note of the quality of the product you are using and its hygiene.
4. Do I need to consider new positions?
Lessening pressure on your mid-section is recommended. Also you may need to minimize contact with sensitive nipples as your pregnancy advances.
1st & 2nd trimester positions-
  • T-square- Lie on your back horizontally on the edge of the bed. He stands the whole time
  • Downward facing doggy-style- Think of the yoga position with a similar name but with your knees and ankles horizontal on the mattress allowing your belly to rest on your thighs
3rd trimester positions-
Avoid lying on your back and the traditional missionary style. Lying flat on your back is not recommended as the weight of your uterus can cause a drop in your blood pressure. So try
  • Spooning- Where he enters you from behind while you both lie on your sides
  • Side T-square- Lie on your side on the edge of the bed for a non-strenuous lovemaking session. He stands the whole time.
* It’s vital now more then ever to communicate more asking ‘how does it feel?’
Bottom line is you’re the one calling the shots. When your ready, you’re ready and you will know it.
Love & Indulgence Tip of the Day is kegels!
This is our recommendation during pregnancy both pre & post and endorsed by our lovely Oprah!
Have you heard of Luna Beads?
These are vibrating balls that exercise your pelvic floor muscles otherwise also known as Kegels.
Strong and healthy kegels will help you prepare for pregnancy and childbirth let alone help you get back to your pre-baby vaginal shape. 1 in 3 women suffer from pelvic floor disorders so if you don’t want to be in one of those ads on incontinence where a women sneezes, coughs or exercises and has the response of an embarrassing little puddle, then concentrate on your kegels from the get go!
The silent benefit however of strong kegels is more intense orgasms. Yes please!

5 More Exercises for Better Sex

It’s a virtuous circle – sex is great for your health, and health is great for your sex. At this post-holidays time of resolutions and optimistic gym memberships, we’re all thinking about getting back in shape.

Everyone enjoys the self-confidence that comes from looking and feeling fit, but what better incentive to keep up the training than a more satisfying sex life?

Stretching: Lower-back pain can seriously cramp your style between the sheets, so stay limber to preserve a strong and supple spine. You’ll be working up the Kama Sutra’s more ambitious positions in no time. Try the ‘happy baby pose’ to stretch out the spine while loosening the muscles in the legs and hips that put it under pressure. Lie on your back, bend your knees toward your chest, and hold the outside of your feet. With your ankles above your knees, pull down gently, slightly curling your tailbone up off the floor, and hold for a few minutes.

Core: More than 20muscles make up your core, which, depending on the position will stabilize your back or allow for more vigorous gyrations (i.e. grinding).  Keep your core in tip top shape with some pelvic tilts by lying on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Raise your hips slowly while tensing your abs, butt and inner thighs. Repeat 20 times.

Upper body: For this great exercise that helps develop a strong and svelte upper body, while also working the grinding muscles of the core, you’ll need an exercise ball. In a push-up position, place your shins on top of the ball while keeping your back, hips and arms straight. Roll the ball up and back by bringing your knees towards the chest and then pushing your feet back out. This is quite a tough exercise, but it can reap great benefits – see if you can do three sets of 10!

Lower body: For sexier, firmer legs, a better bum, and all the endurance of the Duracell bunny when you’re on top, try squats. They’re simple – with your heels firmly on the floor, bend as if sitting into an invisible chair and then straighten again. The lower you go, the more you’ll work your glutes – start with 15 slow repetitions and build it up to 30. You’ll be working your inner thighs too, which indirectly tightens your vaginal walls. Or, to train your pelvic muscles directly for enhanced sensations during sex and more frequent and powerful orgasms, try a Kegel weights fitness system.

Massage: If you’re worried that after all that hard work you’ll be too exhausted to enjoy some sexy time, never fear – studies show that just 10 minutes of massage can make a huge difference to the inflammation and soreness that strenuous exercise can cause. No need to visit the spa – the latest hand-held body massagers can mimic the skills of a professional masseur. Even better still, cut directly to the chase – if you have your guy well-trained, then why not light up a massage candle and get him to give you a romantic oil massage

It’s just as good for your body, and will really get you into the mood!

Get the Complete Bikini Body; The Benefits of Healthy Kegels

MERRY XMAS FROM THE LOVE AND INDULGENCE TEAM!
We hope you all had a magnificent day whether your with friends, family or spoiling yourself. We hope this next article gets you in the mood to feel the summer sexiness we all need.

Bigger, better orgasms—who wouldn’t appreciate that? Women everywhere are finding that Kegel toning yields a huge payoff: more frequent, intense and prolonged orgasms. Stronger Kegel muscles give women more control and sensitivity during sexual activity, and even their male partners can feel the results!

Pregnant women are particularly advised to exercise them in order to maintain elasticity and strength well after their newborns arrive. And since Kegels—like any muscle—gradually become weaker with age, mature women are also turning to Kegel toning to dramatically reduce the chances of incontinence in later years, and to prevent pelvic organ prolapse.

So now that we know how important these muscles can be, what’s the best way to keep them healthy? Given their lack of visibility, some women simply forget to exercise them, especially as the distractions of a busy lifestyle add up. And, it can be difficult for a woman to gauge the strength of her Kegels, or to even locate the proper set of muscles.
Women around the world have discovered the ultimate solution in LELO’s LUNA Beads. Our body-safe resistance exercisers can be worn for Kegel strength training—and unlike hitting the gym, LUNA Beads can be used anytime, anywhere.

Use these exercisers while in the shower, on your commute to work, or even while running errands on the weekends—LELO LUNA Beads are effective no matter what you may be up to, and no one around you will have a clue. So when summer finally comes around and it’s time to hit the beach, you’ll have that perfect accessory to wear with that smashing bikini.

If you want to take it up a notch try out the Nalone Miu Miu vibrating kegel's. Gives shopping with rhythm a whole new meaning!
